Prince Of Wales Plumes Horse Brass Charles 1969 Royal Souvenir
SKU: 8735-125
This horse brass or souvenir pub brass depicts the 3 plumes of the Prince of Wales and was made 1969 for the Investiture of Prince Charles as Prince Of Wales at Canaervon Castle in Wales. I have another variation made for the same occasion...over the years, I think I have had 4 different versions.
The royal commemorative souvenir brass is in excellent used vintage condition and measures 3.5 inches high by 3 wide.
Horse brasses were developed in the 17th century to decorate and identify draft horses and are very collectible. In England you see them decorating the beams in pubs or hung by the fireplace in homes, or used as Christmas tree ornaments.
