This is a Shelley China, England unusual and neat set of a Edwardian souvenir or crested china bone china creamer or cream jug and sugar bowl or sugar basin in the Victoria shape with gold trim made as a souvenir of Pevensey, Sussex.
The charming pattern is a black transfer of Ye Olde Mint House Pevensey, Sussex.
The mark is the usual Shelley green shield and dates the set to 1912-1925, which is just out of the Edwardian era and into the World War I era but was most popular during Edwardian times.
The creamer measures 2.75 high and the sugar basin measures 2.25 inches high by 3.75 inches in diameter.
The set is in excellent used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear.
