This is a Shelley China, England bone china teapot in the Chelsea pattern 11280 made between 1925-1940 with gold trim and a locking tab lid.
The 2 cup teapot is in the Old Cambridge or Tulip shape.
The pretty teapot measures 5.5 inches high by 7 inches long by 4.5 inches in diameter wide.
The tea pot features a pretty and stylized floral and foliage design.
The teapot is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or restorations and only very minor gold wear to the spout.
