The salt glazed earthenware or stoneware crock dish, coaster or soap dish that made in the 1890-1910s as an advertising item for the soap manufacturers.

The Victorian advertising crock dish measures .85 of an inch inch high 3.85 inches in diameter and has the black transferware words Luxette, Registered Trademark.

The Luxette advertising crock dish is in very good +++ used vintage condition as these go with only small indentation, probably from manufacturing, as shown in the photo.

Truly a fun piece of Victoriana, a great item of advertising and domestic history and neat decorative piece as well as very hard to find anymore.
