Wedgwood Jasperware Sugar Cream Large Icarus Sacrifice To Ceres Blue White 1957 1961
This is an elegant vintage Wedgwood, English blue and white jasperware large cream and sugar made by the date marks in 1957 and 1961 with classical themes.
The creamer measures 5.5 inches high not counting the handle by 5.5 inches long by 4 in diameter and holds 8 ounces and is marked for the date of 1957.
The lidded sugar bowl measures 4 inches high including the lid by 4.5 inches in diameter and is marked for the date of 1961.
The elegant blue and white jasperware sugar and cream set has the classical design of Sacrifice To Ceres, some figures from the Sacrifice Figures design and Icarus and Daedalus.
The Wedgwood cream and sugar are in excellent, mint condition with no chips, cracks or even crazing, and the interiors, which are glazed, are clean an unstained.
A great piece of history. A great addition to your Wedgwood collection, or for a great accent for any room. Really lovely.
