This is a waste bowl or slop bowl from Shelley China, England in the Gainsborough shape in the Blue Rock pattern 13546 with gold trim.
The large bowl was made 1940-1966 and has a pretty blue floral on white with a blue swirl border. The waste bowl which can be used as a bowl for anything is in very good +++ condition with no chips, cracks or wear. There is a small underglaze manufacturing smudge on the base rim...hardly visible...
The bowl is just beautiful and a very useful size for so many things in the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom or office.
