English Sterling Silver Teaspoons 12 In Box Hallmarked 1934 Sheffield J Dixon
This is a fabulous set of 12 English hallmarked sterling silver demitasse teaspoons or coffee spoons in an elegant design in the original fitted box.
They are hallmarked for James Dixon and Sons, Sheffield 1934 and made in Sheffield, England and had the registry number for 1923.
The hallmarked spoons have an elegant curved art deco design handle and measure 5 inches long each, and the box measures 8 inches by 11 inches and is 1 inch thick.
The spoons are in absolutely perfect condition but the box has both hinges missing and is held in place with the satin strips inside.
Each spoon weighs approximately 14.8 grams for a total for the set of 177.6 gramsAn elegant compliment to tea or after dinner coffee.
