This is a Shelley China, England baby dish, child's bowl or pie plate made in 1937 for the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, parents of Queen Elizabeth II on May 12, 1937.
The quality white baby dish, feeding bowl, pie plate or dish measures 1.6 inches high by 6.5 inches in diameter.
The rarely seen and unusual bowl or plate is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There are a few utensil marks and 2 tiny spots on the transfer of the King and Queen.
A novel item of British Royal memorabilia, and seldom seen.
