Teapot Toby Jug England Brown Gold Luster Vintage 1940s Tea Pot Price Kensington
This is a wonderful porcelain teapot in the form of a toby jug or character jug made by Price Kensington potteries of Staffordshire, England in the 1934-1940s.
The teapot is double sided with gold lustre trim on one side and a glaze usually referred to as a treacle glaze, after the syrup.
The teapot is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There is a bit of wear to the gold luster trim, but very little.
A very fun and collectible for your tea table or teapot collection. Very unusual, stylish and an elegant addition to the tea table.
