Plate Mason's Oak Polychrome Transfer Embossed Border 6 Inch Side Bread
This is an antique Mason's, England Oak pattern bread and butter or side plate made in polychrome transferware with an embossed border between 1900 and 1920.
The plate measures 6 inches in diameter and features the scene used on the Vista design with the addition of the molded oak leaf and acorn border on a cream colored ironstone which is more pale yellow than the photos can capture.
The plate has purple, green, yellow and brown transfer decoration and is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks, and only a few light utensil marks.
A great pattern in the Romantic Staffordshire or Romantic Transferware genre, which isn't often seen.
