This is that wonderful Victorian invention--the knife rest--designed to keep the table cloth clean. This knife rest is silverplated and has a jack-like end like in the children's game of jacks. I brought it home recently from England. This rest is 3 inches long and in excellent condition. Shipping in the US by USPS Priority insured with tracking is $7.60.
