Just like the ad, these silverplate knife rests look like the Cingular cell phone symbol or a child's set of jacks. They measure 3.25 inches long by 1.25 inches high. I brought these home from England. The plating is in very good condition. A great english set for your table dating to around 1910-1920. Knife rests were developed by the Victorians as a way to keep the tablecloth clean. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured with tracking is $8.50.
