This is a hand embroidered linen tea cozy or tea cosy from England in a pattern usually called Crinoline Lady. It was made in the 1920-1940s by hand and measures 12.5 inches long by 8 inches high. It is in very good condition with stitching intact and just 2 marks on one side in the upper right. I don't know what they are & haven'y tried to remove them, but they certainly aren't a big problem.
