This is a cute little mottoware cream jug or creamer or milk jug made by Aller Vale England potteries in the 1950s. It has the motto "Tak A Little Craim" and is in very good condition. The creamer measures 1 7/8 inches high by 2.5 inches in diameter at the base and 2 inches at the top. A wonderful piece of mottoware. This famous and fun pottery has been manufactured in the south of England from the 1870's until the factories closed in the 1960's. It is usually of red clay decorated with bright glazes, cottages and mottos or sayings that run the gamut from proverbs and sound advice to nearly outrageous.
