I got this pie bird in England. I liked the blue color. This pie vent or pie funnel measures 4.5 inches high by 1.75 inches wide by 2.25 inches deep. It is of glazed ceramic and was made in the 1990s. Pie birds were developed in the 1500s to release steam from a baking pie so the filling didn't boil over. It is in very good condition. Shipping in the US by USPS Priority Insured with tracking is $7.60.
