This is a strap of horse brasses we brought home from England in March. It measures 18.5 inches long and has 4 brasses: Jenny Jones from Wales; a crown for the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 1977 & a squirrel. Very decorative & collectible. Horse brasses were developed in the 17th century to decorate & identify draft horses and are very collectible. In England you see them decorating the beams in pubs or hung by the fireplace in homes.
