This is a strap of horse brasses we brought home from England. It measures 18.5 inches long and has 4 brasses: shield of Cornwall (Kernow); Polperro;Cornish Piskey (or pixy)& a tin miner. Very decorative & collectible. Horse brasses were developed in the 17th century to decorate & identify draft horses and are very collectible.
