This is a fabulously elegant flower basket pin that dates to the Edwardian era--1900-1920. This lovely pin measures 1.25 inches high by 1.5 inches wide. The marks are 925, S, the letters LAO & a manufacturers symbol like a person with a bow. These seem to me to be continental marks. The pin consists of 24 hand bead set white zircons in a mille grained basket with 18 hand collet set white zircons making up the floral spray. They are beautifully set. The pin has the victorian plunger type safety back catch and the pin is in excellent condition with no wear. It is absolutely beautiful.
