This is a great vintage blond wood or treen darning egg or darner I recently brought home from England. Egg shaped darners are relatively uncommon in England where the English preferred a mushroom shape. This darner might have been made in the USA and imported to England. The darning egg measures 6 inches long by 1.5 inches in diameter. It is in very, very good condition showing patina but little use. A great piece of vintage decor.
