This is a vintage pearl collar made in the 1950s for the American market by Glentex & marked Made In Japan. The collar is a satin backed 7 rows of graduated artificial pearls with a fringe of pearl drops. The overall size of the collar lying flat is 11 inches. The collar is 1.75 inches wide including the pearl fringe. It closes with a hook & eye and a 2.5 inch long ties each side. The body of the collar is in very good condition, but there are 3 fringe drops missing. Very stylish & retro. It would go great with a poodle skirt!
