This tin tray, that measures 12 inches in diameter, was designed and made for a coronation that never took place. King Edward VIII ascended to the throne of England upon the death of his father King George V in 1937 but his coronation never took place because he abdicated to marry American divorcee' Wallis Simpson. The tray has no dents but does show some wear. It was obviously a practical item as well as an historical treasure. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured with tracking is $10.40.
