This is a neat souvenir tin commemorating the coronation of Queen Elizabeth !! of England in 1953. The chocolate tin measures 5.5 inches square by 2.75 inches high. It has a great graphic of the young queen on the lid and on the sides drawings of Buckingham Palace & Westminster Abbey & the other 2 sides have the Queen's cipher, dates & dedication. Made for Henry Thorne & Co. Ltd., Toffee & Chocolate Manufacturers, Leeds, England. The tin has neat recessed lid corners with a crown. The tin is in used condition with a few scratches & a bit of discoloration, but the hinge is tight and it is a very nice souvenir piece.
