This is a really attractive silverplated knife rest I brought back from England last March. It measures 4.25 inches long and stands 1.75 inches high. It has ball ends, a center bar like a turned banister. The knife rest dates to @1900. Knife rests were a victorian invention to keep the table cloth clean. It is really cute & quite collectible. Shipping in the US by USPS Priority insured with tracking is $7.60.
