This is a neat tea caddy spoon or caddy spoon made during the 1920-1930s as a souvenir of St. Leonards on the Dorset coast of sounthern England. The chrome plated caddy spoon measures 3 inches long and features a 2 tone blue enamel finial with the name & an anchor. The spoon is in very good condition. Tea caddy spoons were developed in the 18th century to spoon out expensive and treasured tea leaves from locked caddies. A practical as well as decorative souvenir.
