This is an unusual royal commemorative tea caddy spoon, caddy spoon or tea scoop. This brass caddy spoon was made to commemorate the coronation in 1937 of King George VI and Elizabeth (the current Queen's parents) of England. The te caddy spoon measures 3.5 inches long. The profiles of His Majesty forms the spoon's handle finial and the date 1937 is below. The spoon is a 2 piece construction with handle soldered onto the bowl in back. The spoon needs cleaning and has some corrosion marks to the bowl but is a very different & collectible piece for the tea table or royalty collection.
