This is an antique English silk handkerchief or hankie made in the 1920s. The hankie is a rich and unusual navy blue with embroidered overcasting on the scalloped edge and satin stitch grapes in all 4 corners with a border of dots and curves. The hankie measures 13 inches by 12.5 inches and is in very good condition with no tears or missing stitches but does have 5 tiny holes. A lovely peachy feel.
