This vintage souvenir tea caddy spoon or tea scoop has an applied enamel shield on the handle for Swansea, Wales, a round bowl and was made in the 1940-1950s. This tea caddy spoon measures 3 inches long, is in excellent condition and comes from a caddy spoon collection we acquired recently in England. Tea caddy spoons were small spoons or scoops popularized by the victorians to lock inside a tea caddy or tea canister with the precious and expensive tea they were used to scoop.
