This is a vintage foreign costume doll made by French firm Poupees Maygali brought back from a European trip in 1950-1960s. The molded and hand painted cloth doll measures 9 inches high. The hands are cloth as well and the legs are celluloid. The doll has a starched petticoat, a gold cross around her neck and lots of metallic gold lace. The original foil labeled is stapled onto the dress. The doll is in very good condition with some discolored spots on the back of her dress. A wonderful souvenir of a European trip. |
