Circa: 1970 Condition: used Size: 4.25 inches tall Color: gold Country of Origin: United States Manufacturer: unknown American maker
This is a cast iron fence post finial that I got from an American caster in the 1970s to use as a decorative accent. The gold cold painted cast iron finial measures 4.25 inches high and is shaped like a stylized church spire with a ball on the top. The base has a square hole measuring 1/2 inch for mounting on a pole or rod. The finial is new and was never used. A great decorative accent among books and shells, etc on a bookcase.
