This is a fancy molded brass mounted fabric picture of a mother and child taken from a self portrait with daughter by Mme Vigee-Le Brum which hangs in The Louvre Museum in Paris, France and brought home as a souvenir from France on a European tour in the 1960s. The fancy brass frame measures 6 inches high by 4.5 inches wide, has a wall hanging loop at the top and a pressed wood pattern cardboard pressed in to hold the padded picture. The picture is on a silky fabric and the piece is very decorative and in very good +++ condition. Very pretty.
