This is an antique napkin ring made by Meridien Silver Plate Company, USA 1870-1890. Although unmarked, the napkin ring is pictured in the catalog for 1879. The napkin ring measures 1.5 inches high by 1.5 inches in diameter, is machine engraved, has no monogram and has a coin rim border. There is quite a bit of plate loss from use, but a very pretty piece of dining history.
