This is a porcelain egg coddler in a king or double size in the Birds pattern. The egg coddler was made in the 1930-1940s by Royal Worcester, England. The coddler measures 3.25 inches high to the top of the jar not including the ring by 3 in diameter and features a design of English birds with a wren on one side and 2 finches on the reverse. This coddler actually looks as if it were never used and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, and has a tight fitting and screws on easily.
