This is an antique English hand made long cross stitched linen dresser scarf or runner. The runner has hand cross stitched flowers and leaves in pink, yellow and green with black cross stitch frame like a lace border. The dresser scarf measures 40 inches long by 13.5 inches wide which is why I have been unable to photograph it full length. The scarf or runner is in very good +++ condition with a bit of minor soiling and a bit of edge wear. The dresser scarf is hemmed with bias binding all around. The dresser scarf dates to 1920-1930s and is from a collection of linens I acquired in England. |
