This is a lovely porcelain egg coddler in a double or king size in the Evesham pattern. The egg coddler was made in the 1930-1940s by Royal Worcester, England. The coddler measures 4.5 inches high to the top of the ring by 2.5 in diameter and features a variation of Evesham which must have been an workman's choice of design. This coddler has the peach or plum, black currants and a leaf. The coddler is in very good +++ condition with no chips or cracks but there is some scratching on the lid...probably from the cleaning method used. Coddlers cook your eggs or leftovers in boiling water. Recipe included.
