This is a medal commemorating the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, the parents of Queen Elizabeth II of England in 1937 with other important dates leading up to the coronation. The gold washed medal measures overall 2.75 inches long and the medal itself is 1.25 inches in diameter. The medal is in very good +++ condition in original patina but the pin and ribbon but they have been replaced. A great piece of royal memorabilia or history.
