This is a gold washed bronze medal made for the Golden Jubilee of the coronation of Queen Victoria of England in 1887 with Queen Victoria's repousse profile, in the shape of maltese cross with important dates from her reign. The commemorative The commemorative Golden Jubilee medal measures 1.5 inches suare. The dates are: Born 1819; Crowned 1838; Married 1840; Jubilee 1887. A wonderful item of British Royal memorabilia. In very good +++ condition with a replaced ribbon and pin and some gold wash loss but still crisp and unscratched.
