This is a medal for the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, the parents of Queen Elizabeth II of England in 1937. The gold washed medal measures overall 2.75 inches long and the medal itself is 1.25 inches in diameter. The medal was struck by The Makers of Rowntrees Cocoa, Jellies and Gums and is in near mint condition in original patina but the pin and ribbon but they have been replaced. A great piece of royal memorabilia or history.
