This is a Walking Ware eggcup made by Carlton Ware, England and the originator of Walking Ware Luster Pottery, England between 1973-1980 when the mark changed. The egg cup or egg cup has brown shoes and herringbone socks. The eggcup measures 2.5 inches high and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and exhibits the normal crazing expected on the older Walking Ware eggcups. The older Walking Ware eggcups are very difficult to find. I just love this one! |
