This is a wonderful marked sterling silver pocket watch fob with enamel equestrian or horse related items. The late Victorian or Edwardian watch fob is mesh with applied enameled silver horshoes in white, blue and pink enamel. Hanging at the bottom is a stirrup with a riding crop which has matching enamel. The watch for measures 7 inches long by 1 inch wide. When I found it at an estate sale recently, someone had crudely soft soldered the crop to the stirrup and done not only a horrible and blobby job, but had heated the metal too hot and dissolved some of the enamel on the stirrup. My retired jeweler husband managed to clean up the messy solder job, but the loss of the enamel can't be fixed. The horse themed watch fob has no other damage and is a lovely and unusual piece.
