This is a mid century bone china cream and sugar made by Royal Standard, England in the 1950s with a pretty pattern called English Rose. The design is a deep red rose jand colored on sepia transfer with gold trim. The cream, creamer or pitcher is 3 inches high and the sugar bowl or sugar basin is 2.5 inches high by 3.5 inches in diameter. Both pieces are in excellent condition and actually look to have never been used. |
