This is an ornate cast brass tea strainer made in the England in the 1890s tp 1910, the late Victorian to Edwardian period. The tea strainer measures 1 inch high by 6 inches long by 3.5 inches wide. The finial is figural and is a lion holding a shield with angels and birds aoround the flange of the bowl. The tea strainer is in very good +++ used condition and is a very decorative item.
