This is a wonderful pair of antique hallmarked English sterling silver sugar tongs in a Georgian style. The sugar tongs or nips are hallmarked for London, England 1835 and the maker TGS. They are monogramed on the bow with an F in script and have spoon ends, and weigh 52.4 grams of silver. They are in excellent condition and would be an elegant way to serve sugar cubes at your next tea or add to a Georgian or Regency silver collection.
