Biscuit Jar Cottageware English Thatched Vintage Price Kensington 1950s Kitsch

This is a wonderful hand painted cottageware or cottage ware biscuit jar, biscuit barrel or cookie jar made by Price Kensington, Staffordshire England in the 1950-1960s and is called Ye Olde Cottage.

The shape is a thatched cottage and it measures 7 inches high by 7 inches wide by 5 inches.

The biscuit jar is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear, a rare excellent interior, but I think originally had a rattan handle which has been replaced with a serviceable rope handle. Handles often are broken or missing.

So cute and so collectible!
