This is a very pretty English chintz with birds biscuit jar, barrel or cracker jar made in England by the Midwinter, England in the 1930s in a lovely floral and bird chintz design that is called Lorna Doone or Birds.
The art deco biscuit barrel is 5.5 inches high by 4.5 inches in diameter or 10 inches high with the handle and has chrome fittings, lid and bale.
The vintage English chintz biscuit jar is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear, and only minor normal age crazing.
A really great vintage chintz piece.
