English Ironstone Soup Bowl Meakin Art Deco Transitional Soup Plate 1920s
This is a Meakin, England vintage ironstone rimmed soup bowl or soup plate made between 1912-1928 in a transitional art deco pattern with both floral center and swags and an art deco stylized border.
The ironstone rimmed soup bowl measures 1.25 inches high by 10 inches in diameter and is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks but does show some minor wear to the center and some of the burgundy rim trim.
The plate or bowl has pretty colors and would be great on a wall or to serve at the dining table or filled with fruit as a kitchen or living room decorative accent.
