This is a fabulous antique Edwardian large figural toby jug or character jug made by Shorter and Son, Ltd. England 1905-1920. The toby has a purple coat, a bag and a mug in hand. The ceramic figural toby jug is hand painted and measures 5.5 inches long by 5 inches high. The toby jug is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks and only some crazing to the base. A wonderfully decorative piece and very collectible.
