Edwardian Wedgwood Biscuit Jar Dark Blue Jasper Dip Offering To Peace Ceres 1900
This is a wonderful Edwardian era dark blue jasper or jasperware dip biscuit barrel, cookie jar or cracker holder with a white glazed interior that was made by Wedgwood, England 1900-1920.
The biscuit or cookie jar is marked faintly but legibly WEDGWOOD Made In England.
The biscuit jar has applied white jasper classical designs of Peace And Ceres and Offering To Peace.
The jar's silver plated fittings are marked P G & Co for Park Green & Co., Ltd. London EPNS and are in very good condition with some plate loss.
The biscuit jar measures 5 inches high by 5 inches in diameter without the handle. The jar itself is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
The cookie jar measures 5 inches high without the handle and is 5 inches in diameter.
