Egg Coddler Royal Worcester Evesham Currants King Double 1930s-Currants Fruit
SKU: 8727-155
This is a lovely porcelain egg coddler in a double or king size in the Evesham pattern.
The egg coddler was made in the 1930-1940s by Royal Worcester, England and measures 4.5 inches high to the top of the ring by 2.5 in diameter.
The porcelain and chrome egg coddler or egg cooker features a variation of Evesham which must have been an workman's choice of design, as not all in this pattern have the same fruit choices.
This 2 egg egg coddler has the peach or plum, black currants and a leaf.
The coddler is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks but there is some scratching on the lid which I assume is probably from the cleaning method used.
Coddlers cook your eggs or leftovers in boiling water. Recipe included.
