Eggcup Blue Transferware Toile England Egg Cup Double Ironstone
This is a toile landscape pattern blue transferware double eggcup made in England from the 1960s.
The egg cup measures 3.75 inches high by 2.5 inches in diameter and features a blue on white toile landscape design.
The double eggcups had 2 sized ends for use with chicken eggs on one side with the bigger cup for duck eggs or coddled eggs.
Now they are used as small vases and cute holders for rings, paper clips or any other little thing with vintage flair. Eggcups are hotly collected as well. Perfect for your cottage boiled breakfast eggs or for Easter eggs.
