This is a fabulous flow blue Romantic Staffordshire transfer or transferware bowl in an unknown landscape pattern by an unknown Staffordshire, England pottery.
The bowl dates to the victorian era 1840-1870.
The bowl is 2.25 inches high by 10 inches in diameter.
The beautiful landscape genre design features a gothic scene with a fancy border with landscape vignettes, a molded shape a remnants of sponged gold trim.

There are a few utensil marks on the bottom and 3 stilt marks on the bottom used during manufacture and firing which is normal for items of this age and material. A wonderful piece of Victoriana.
